Jamanee Gunya is a non profit organisation set up to provide indigenous cultural training for Aboriginal youth but not exclusively. Jamanee Gunya also runs courses for University students. Jamanee Gunya is situated in Milton on the South Coast of New South Wales. The Director, Noel Butler, from the Budawang tribe, has been teaching indigenous training for over 25 years. Field trips include Pidgeon House Mountain and Meroo Lake National Park, both these places hold great significance to the Budawang people connecting with their creation stories. Jamanee can tailor its courses to suit different disciplines. Jamanee Gunya promotes reconciliation between Indigenous and non Indigenous people.
